As Deputy Manager, you will report too and support to the Registered Manager in the day to day running of the homes and deputising in their absence, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing support to the Registered Manager in all aspects of care management
- Ensuring resident care is delivered in line with their Care plans and risk assessments.
- Overseeing care planning.
- Leading the daily routines, Leading medication routines. Supporting and mentoring senior Care staff through supervision.
- Being a role model and mentor for staff and to ensure that a consistent high standard of care is provided, and training is up to date.
- You will display a positive attitude and be a team player.
A key requirement of this role is the ability to communicate with all levels of the multi-disciplinary team and the governing bodies e.g., Care Quality Commission, Social Services and Safeguarding teams. You will have the ability to implement actions as directed by your Manager as well as assist with the marketing of the Home. You will receive regular training and supervision, along with development opportunities.
